Raised fill leaves the metal lines slightly above the colored surface — you can feel the texture, giving a classic refined look. Polished fill is leveled flat to a jewelry-grade smooth finish. Raised is 15-20% cheaper; polished is more refined for major formal occasions.
Epoxy and acrylic are faster and cheaper at high volume. Metal is best for mid-quantities (50-300) or whenever the highest finish matters regardless of price.
